The Amusement Equipment Directory has been updated to better serve North American amusement suppliers and the buyers searching for dependable equipment, installation and support.
Today’s amusement buyers face a crowded international marketplace. It is not always easy to determine where equipment is manufactured, who will install it, whether replacement parts will remain available or who will provide warranty and technical support after the sale. A low initial price can become much more expensive when shipping delays, installation problems or limited after-sale service interrupt a project.
AED is being rebuilt to make those differences more visible.
The new directory gives priority to companies that manufacture, build, install and service amusement equipment in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Qualified suppliers can present their products, services, operating territories, project images, videos and support capabilities in a consistent format that helps buyers compare companies more fairly.
AED supplier classifications will also help distinguish between North American manufacturers, internationally manufactured products with established North American support and companies primarily distributing imported equipment. Every listed supplier must maintain a legitimate North American business presence. Offshore manufacturers without a North American office, warehouse, service operation or accountable representative will not be listed directly.
For suppliers, the redesigned AED provides more than a company name and website link. It creates a focused industry profile intended to reach serious buyers researching new attractions, replacement equipment, facility upgrades, installation services, repairs and ongoing operational support.
Platinum suppliers will also be able to submit company news, product introductions, project announcements and other relevant industry updates for publication in the AED News Room. Submissions will follow consistent formatting and remain subject to AED review before publication.
The objective is straightforward: help amusement buyers make better-informed supplier decisions while giving qualified North American companies a credible place to demonstrate what they build, where they operate and how they support their customers.
